Lara Logan

 Lara Logan, born 29 March 1971, is a South African radio and television journalist and war correspondent. She was an CBS News reporter from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive producers Jeff Fager and Lara Logan called her factually inaccurate and politcally biased coverage of the 2012 Benghazi attacks "the most glaring error of my 10-year watching." In 2019 she joined Sinclair Broadcast Group, a conservative media company. The company was acquired by Fox Nation in January 2020. Fox News runs the subscription streaming service. She claimed she was "dumped" by Fox Nation in March 2022. Logan was a news reporter at the Sunday Tribune in Durban, during her studies (1988-1989), and then at the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992 she joined Reuters Television Africa as a senior producer. After four years, she moved out into freelance journalism and landed reports as a reporter and editor/producer for ITN as well as Fox/SKY, CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC, and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN was her homebase, where she covered incidents like the 1998 United States embassy bombings, in Nairobi and Tanzania. Also, the conflict between Northern Ireland and Kosovo.
