Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who worked as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 until 2022. As a part of the Democratic Party, she previously served in the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) as well as the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011) as well as the spokesperson of the United States Department of State (2013-2015) and as the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was an election contributor to CNN between 2017-2020. Psaki began her career in 2001, as a political contributor for CNN. She was involved in the campaign for re-election of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki was later named the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's campaign for president in 2004. Psaki worked from 2005 to 2006 as the communications director of Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, as well as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was also the press secretary to President Obama's 2012 reelection campaigns.
